Game changing driver August 27, 2010 Sas I recently bought this driver and it has totally changed my game. I love the fact that it isn't as clumsy as a lot of other drivers, but more square. The head feels just right and the shaft is light enough to allow my swing speed to pick up.
I'm totally happy with my Forgan driver. In fact I went back and got a putter and a sandwedge as well.
Great driver for the low price and new golfer August 6, 2010 austin18 I just got my Forgan driver today, took it out to the driving range and didn't want to stop hitting balls. I have to say opening the box to see it was a joy, no scratches, no paint chips, just nice looking driver. I just started golfing this summer and this is the first driver I have bought and liked. I will use this driver for years to come. I will be posting pics soon of my driver. If you have a low budget this is the driver for you. Great driver for the low price and new golfer.
Weekend Golfer? Can't go wrong. June 28, 2010 P. DeCastro (Michigan) I'm a weekend golfer, so when my used Tour Edge driver I bought for 15 bucks broke (terribly sad day), I wasn't looking to break the bank on a new driver (not that I have much bank to break... lol).
This was the club I settled on, and so far it seems like a great investment. If you have a good swing, your drives will go straight and true and carry well enough. I'm a big guy, so I've never had a problem generating power... I can get this club up into the 270 yard range, push higher than that on a good swing, and straight as an arrow (sometimes a little fade). This is just as far as I ever got my Tour Edge driver, which retailed for over 200 when it was new.
I'm deducting a star because the lacquer finish on the shaft was already chipping a bit out of the box, which was just kind of annoying (I like to keep my clubs clean).
BOTTOM LINE: FOR [...] BUCKS, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG.
Forgan Red Square Lady Driver February 13, 2010 Judy (New Jersey) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This was bought as a Christmas gift for my Mom in PA. Needless to say, she hasn't used it yet, but she did like it. Having a headcover is a nice touch! She can't wait to use it (as soon as the snow stops!). As far as ordering, the order went through easily, the product came quickly, and I was offered a free subscription to a golfing magazine. I thought that was nice--I hope that comes through (still too early for my first edition to arrive). Sure couldn't beat the price--and the quality seems good. Great for the occasional/weekly golfer who doesn't want to invest a lot of cash into clubs!
got my moneys worth January 12, 2010 N. Bucher I have a 14 degree model of this driver, and i just ordered a 12 degree because i drive better with my forgan than my nike sq sumo 5000 9.5* loft. the reason is probably that the 14* loft puts tremendous backspin on the ball and straightens out the shot. but for 40 dollars it is an outstanding club i can carry 250 no problem with it and ive abused it learning to golf with no problems. one more thing about this driver you can do a cool trick i saw on the golf channel where you balance it upside down on a wedge and then you balance a golf ball on the driver head. the shape of the driver makes it very easy.
